Just got done with my home football game of the season! It was South Carolina State University. We won 21-6! The game wasn't one of the most exciting ones, but it was still fun. The band has been working really hard the last few weeks. We learned very hard drill that was not fun to get through. There are lots of moves to master, and it's very frustraiting to learn it while it's 88 degrees outside.
Nevertheless, we were able to do it. Was it our best performance? No, but we worked really hard to get there. I'm proud of my entire CMB family! It's going to be a great season if this is any indication. But for now it's back to packing for my family's weekend trip to Mackinaw City! Then it's bedtime. So for now...
